Minutes of the meeting of 09-16-08

A special meeting of the Board of Supervisors of Alexandria Township was held on the 16th Day of September 2008 at the law offices of Thornton, Reif, Dolan, Bowen & Klecker, P.A. The special meeting was called by Chairman Thalman to mediate an agreement between the township and Richard Zunker.

ROLL CALL: Supervisors present were Joel Dahlheimer, Louis Ross, Jim Casper and Roger Thalman. Also present was Clerk Gregg Raisanen and Michelle Clark, Township Attorney. As said members formed a quorum and the mediation began at 9:30AM. The meeting was closed to the public to hold a mediation session order by the court.

Supervisor Ross left the meeting at 11:00 AM. Clerk Raisanen left the meeting at 11:55 and was replaced by Deputy Clerk Fulghum.

Mediator Michael Dolan was successful in drafting an agreement between Alexandria Township and Richard and Judi Zunker. The agreement stipulates a 6-year timeframe for Mr. Zunker to remove all of the scrap from his land.

Dahlheimer, seconded by Casper, made a motion to recommended approval to the town board the terms and conditions outlined in the mediation agreement and that it is forwarded to the town board for their consideration. Roll: Dahlheimer – yes, Casper – yes, Thalman – yes. Motion carried unanimously.

Being no further business, Dahlheimer, seconded by Casper, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 1:20 P.M.
