Notice of Annual Meeting and Election of Officers

Alexandria Township

Notice is hereby given to the qualified voters of Alexandria Township, County of Douglas, State of Minnesota, that the Election of officers and Annual Township Meeting will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Polls will be open from 12:00 Noon to 8:00 PM at which time the voters will elect:

Supervisor Position B- Three year Term

Supervisor Position C- Three year Term

Treasurer- Two year Term

Voters will also be voting on a ballot question to consider adopting option B, providing for the appointment of the Clerk and Treasurer positions by the Town Board.

The annual meeting will be held following the election at 8:00 PM.

The Town Board will meet as a Board of Canvass immediately following the close of the Annual Meeting to declare the official results of the Election.

In Case of inclement weather, the Election and Annual Meeting will be rescheduled to March 20, 2007.
