Minutes of the meeting of February 13, 2006

A special public meeting of the Planning Commission of Alexandria Township was held on the 13^th day of February, 2006.

ROLL CALL: Commission members present were John Knowles, Julie Feuling and Larry Steidl. Also present was Bonnie Fulghum, Deputy Clerk. As said members formed a quorum and the meeting was called to order by Chairman Knowles at 7:00 p.m.

Feuling, seconded by Steidl, made a motion to approve the agenda as presented. Motion carried unanimously.

Steidl, seconded by Feuling, made a motion to approve the minutes of the 01/23/06 meeting as written. Motion carried unanimously.

The purpose of the meeting was to complete a draft of the implementation steps necessary to achieve the goals set forth earlier in the planning process. Discussion focused on gravel extraction/processing; economic development; the adult use ordinance; orderly development; the subdivision ordinance; mapping (for roads and trails); permitting, in conjunction with the city and county, to include the building code; and avenues of public participation.

Being no further business, Feuling, seconded by Steidl, made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Meeting adjourned at 9:10 p.m.
